History
The Val delle Corti estate, located in Radda in Chianti, is one of the historic wineries of Chianti Classico, with a strong commitment to sustainable viticulture. For generations, the Caparsa family has cultivated their vineyards with passion and respect for the land. The Riserva represents the estate’s highest quality level, expressing the authenticity and purity of Radda’s Sangiovese.

Production Method
The grapes are hand-harvested, carefully selected, and fermented in cement vats with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged for about 24 months in large oak barrels, a process that preserves the fruit’s elegance and enriches the wine with complex and refined notes.

Tasting Notes
Intense ruby red color. The nose reveals aromas of ripe red fruits, cherries, and plums, enriched by floral hints of violet and notes of sweet spices and tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with elegant tannins and vibrant freshness that ensures perfect balance. The finish is long and persistent, with hints of licorice and forest floor.
Food Pairing
Perfect with grilled red meats, roasts, game, and aged cheeses. It pairs beautifully with typical Tuscan dishes such as bistecca alla fiorentina or pappardelle with wild boar ragù.
