History
Vallepicciola is a winery located in Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the heart of Chianti Classico. With 105 hectares of vineyards, the company cultivates both native varieties like Sangiovese and international ones like Pinot Noir, aiming to produce high-quality wines that respect Tuscan traditions and enhance the territory.

Production Method
Grapes are manually harvested at the end of August from estate vineyards located at 420 meters above sea level, on limestone and clay soils with marl and limestone presence. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled wooden conical tanks, followed by a 7-day post-fermentation maceration. Malolactic fermentation occurs in second and third passage barriques, with aging in wood for 6-8 months.

Tasting Notes
The wine shows a bright ruby red color. On the nose, it offers aromas of fresh red fruits, such as cherry and raspberry, accompanied by delicate floral and spicy notes. On the palate, it is light and fresh, with soft tannins and a pleasant acidity that provides balance and persistence.
