Podere Casina is a small winery nestled in the heart of Tuscany’s Maremma region, an area renowned for Morellino di Scansano production. The estate combines tradition and innovation, showcasing Scansano’s unique terroir to craft wines that express the true essence of Sangiovese.

Production Method

It displays a bright ruby red color. The nose reveals intense aromas of cherry, blackberry, and plum, enriched with subtle spicy and floral notes. On the palate, it is fresh and velvety, with soft tannins and a well-balanced structure. The finish is long and pleasant, with delicate fruity persistence.
Suggested Pairings
Perfect with pasta dishes with ragù, grilled meats, and medium-aged cheeses. It pairs wonderfully with Tuscan classics such as wild boar pappardelle and ribollita. It is also an excellent choice to accompany antipasti of cured meats and crostini.
