History
During an advanced lesson in Bari on the world of Gin and Vermouth, Giuseppe understands that he is ready to share his inventions with the vast public. His close friend, the renowned pharmacist Antonio Ciano, is immediately enthusiastic about the plan and decides to invest in the project. The enthusiasm also extends to his close friend and cousin Antonio Mancuso, an experienced software engineer, who joins them to co-found the company that will carry out the Garnet project just a few months later. Thanks to the precious collaboration with The Spiritual Machine, master distillers with years of experience, the first formula was developed: Garnet The Sweet Gin, which was introduced on the market.
Production method
To produce gin it is necessary to “flavour” an alcoholic base with some elements of which one of the components or often the main one is juniper. This can happen in various ways: either by maceration of the botanicals in alcohol, which is then redistilled to find a colorless and “cleaner” product, or the botanicals can be placed in a container placed above the still, so that alcohol in the form of vapor extracts aromas and perfumes.

Tasting notes
Clear and transparent. Perfumed on the nose thanks to the presence of floral essences such as chamomile, rose and hibiscus, which blend with the liveliness of orange, lemon and bergamot peels. The vigorous presence of juniper is tempered by a light residual sweetness, giving a velvety and never cloying sip. The freshness of pomegranate further enriches the complexity of this gin together with the herbaceous nuances of cardamom and lemon balm.
Usage
Perfect at the end of a meal or for meditation, excellent for creating refreshing high-quality cocktails!
