History
Podere Terreno, an ancient farm in the Chianti area, which since the 1400s was dedicated to the production of wine and oil and to animal breeding. Over the years, several families have owned the land, maintaining its agricultural vocation and contributing to the history of Chianti Classico. Podere Terreno is one of the few territories that have kept their territorial identity unchanged over the centuries and has been known since ancient times for the quality of its wines. In the 60s and 70s it was a popular tourist destination due to its natural beauty and in more recent times it has been used as a location for important screenplays and photographic sets. The Grilli family has decided to renovate the farmhouse and start a path of rebirth for Podere Terreno, while maintaining the spirit of tradition and the link with the territory. The vine of choice is Sangiovese, managed by the agronomist Giovanni Puccini, while his daughter Cristina Grilli takes care of the reception and agritourism hospitality.
